CHC has extensive experience in delivering solutions to the Marine Industry; in recent years this has formed one of the mainstays of our Company activity.

Our on going investment in technology and focus on quality has facilitated us supplying many UK and International Marine Companies including:

• Perkins Diesels

We are able to supply complete project managed manufacture; from design and prototyping through to manufacture, or single component parts. Our expertise includes manufacture for a range of parts for Marine systems and vehicles:

• Underwater vehicles.
• Large and small marine power units and transmissions.
• Propulsion systems and power trains.
• Arrester gear for many applications.

CHC are also able to provide prototyping for the development of new systems and the resultant components, working in partnership to provide advice and knowledge on component design, manufacturing and materials selection.

CHC have developed a reverse engineering service; the manufacturing of obsolete components where drawings or information is no longer available.  This service allows customers the option of refurbishing existing equipment.  

Recently we have been working with an international company to provide input into the manufacture of components for advanced propulsion systems.

With over 60 years working in the Marine Industry, CHC have developed technical expertise in difficult to machine materials:

• Carbon and alloy steel (Sheridised to protect parts from salt water corrosion.
