What we do

INDUSTRIES AND COMPONENTS

C H Clarke manufacture parts for a range of industries including marine, agricultural, defence, automotive, heavy and aerospace industries. Example components we specialise in include precision bushes, non-standard nuts and bolts, bearings, bearing housings, banjos, threaded unions, turnbuckles, clevis pins, king pins, journals, pistons and thrust washers. We also have experience of machining castings and forgings.

• 6 Axis Robot for loading CNC billet work.
• Goodway 6-axis twin spindle CNC lathe turning up to 65mm Dia with fully automatic bar feed.
• Super KiaTurn15Lm 5 axis CNC Lathe turning up to 44mm Dia with fully automatic bar feed.
• KiaTurn 28L CNC lathe turning up to 10” Dia. x 1 metre.
• Hitachi Seiki CNC lathe turning up to 10” Dia. x 1 metre.
• MHP CNC lathes turning up to 6” diameter.
• 2 x KiaTurn 21L CNC lathes with 50mm fully automatic bar feed.
• Jinnfa CNC lathe turning up to 60mm Dia. with fully automatic bar feed.
• Bridgeport VMC800 with PTG indexer for 4-axis milling.
• Bridgeport VMC1000 with PTG indexer for 4-axis milling.
• Leadwell CNC vertical high speed 3-axis drill / tap centre.
• Single spindle autos with 50mm diameter turning capacity.
• We also have a range of manual machines including Capstan lathes, single and multi-spindle drillers, horizontal and vertical milling machines as well as MIG welding capability allowing us to offer a comprehensive machining service.

FINISHING

We can offer a wide variety of finishes including (but not limited to) Heat Treatment, Grinding, Electroplating, Phosphating, Powder Coating, Painting and various Chrome finishes.
